Aerospace - Developing Malaysia as a regional MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) hub in aerospace sector
Biomass - Leveraging on Malaysia’s natural resources by converting oil palm biomass to high-value green chemicals.
Solar - Expanding local solar industry by harnessing the expertise of existing MNCs in Malaysia, to realise energy security and carbon reduction goals.
Maritime - Developing the Shipbuilding / Ship Repair industry concentrating on niche markets involving small to medium sized vessels
Rail- Identifying and leveraging Malaysia’s capability and competency in enhancing the local rail transport industry.
Advance Material- Accelerating the development of the Composites Industry.
Foresight - considers alternative futures of the various Science and Technology (S&T) fields
and socioeconomic systems by bringing together representatives of diverse stakeholder groups,
thus assisting in decision making processes at different levels
Offset Management - The main deliverable of Countertrade/Offset Services at MIGHT is
the management of offset activities associated with high value and strategic government acquisitions.
MIGHT Consultation - MIGHT Consultation (MC) is a key stakeholders’ engagement platform
organised by MIGHT since its inception in 1993. Through the years, MC have covered various areas of
industry development involving collaborative efforts between public and private entities,
the development of national industry blueprints and flagship programs.
Industry Intelligence - The Division is one of the platforms to achieve MIGHT’s
mission in advancing the competency in high technology and strategic industry through effective
industry-government partnership towards achieving high income economy.
Technology Nurturing - MIGHT's technology nurturing activities are helmed by its wholly-owned subsidiary, MIGHT TECHNOLOGY NURTURING SDN BHD (MTN). Guided by MIGHT’s objectives, these activities, which include capacity building, technology investment and commercialisation are undertaken by MTN together with its subsidiary companies.
MIGHT is a triple-helix smart partnership platform that serves to enhance industry private and public
